How to import an Excel document into the application - Web version

Define new categories and locations using your own Excel tables that you can import into the application.

  1. Click on the three-point icon that appears when you hover your mouse over your project.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. It is only possible to import categories or premises. Click the Import icon.

Categories

To import a list of categories from an Excel file into APROPLAN, please organise your categories as explained below:

  • Column A: Category code
  • Column B: Name of category
  • Column C: Subcategory code
  • Column D: Subcategory name
  • Column E: Subject
  • Column F: Description
Premises

To import a list of rooms from an Excel file into APROPLAN, please organise your rooms as explained below:

  • Column A: Level 1 code
  • Column B: Level 1 description
  • Column C: Level 2 code
  • Column D: Level 2 description
  1. Click Browse and select your document.
  2. Click Import.

⚠️️⚠️ The file name cannot contain any of the following characters: @ + % ° ( ) { } § & # \ / : * ? " < > |

Make sure all lines are completed. The premises or categories in the Excel file will be added to the existing premises in APROPLAN .
