What is the budget feature?
In GenieBelt you can manage your overall project budget. You do this by adding in budget information on every single task in your programme/task list.
Once you've added budget information on all tasks, GenieBelt presents you with an overview of your project budget.
The budget module is divided into two sections: Budget report and Report period. The Budget report shows you your project budget divided in 4 categories:
- Total budget, which is the combined amount of budget added to tasks
- Completed tasks, which is the budget amount for the tasks that have been reported as 100% and/or signed off
- Ongoing tasks, which is the budget amount on tasks between 1-99%
- Tasks not started, which is the budget amount added to tasks that yet has to start
